The Odd Parcel story

About Odd Parcel

Some objects deserve a second life. Others deserve a wildly improbable backstory. We think the best ones deserve both.

Receipt Roulette is our monthly mystery box: one curated secondhand item, paired with a handwritten story about where it came from. We source from unclaimed goods, returns, thrift lots and estate sales, looking for character rather than sameness.

Real history. Or a very good tale.

Some backstories draw on real provenance. Others are playful fiction. Guess first; the reveal tells you which. An invented story is part of the game, never a claim of verified history.

The story doesn't stop at your doorstep.

Unbox your find, compare it with someone else's and imagine another chapter. Customers can submit their own item's story for a chance to be featured by Odd Parcel.
